NEET पेपर लीक विवाद और छात्र प्रदर्शनों के बीच शिक्षा मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देने के करीब दो हफ्ते बाद धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने पहली बार खुलकर अपनी बात रखी है। प्रधान ने कहा कि प्रदर्शन के दौरान कुछ लोगों ने Gen Z को गुमराह करने की कोशिश की। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि मंत्री पद उनके लिए कभी महत्वपूर्ण नहीं रहा और उन्होंने खुद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के सामने इस्तीफे की पेशकश की थी। प्रधान ने छात्रों को देश का भविष्य बताया और ओडिशा में हुए विरोध को लेकर नवीन पटनायक पर भी निशाना साधा।
Former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has broken his silence on his resignation following the NEET paper leak controversy and student protests. Pradhan claimed that some people attempted to mislead Gen Z during the protests. He also said that the ministerial position was never important to him and that he had personally offered his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
